Korean style pork roast with kimchi slow cooked with potatoes and onions

Here's an easy Korean style pork roast slow cooked in kimchi, gochujang, Korean miso paste cooking liquid. For pork roast, I buy a big piece, about 5 pounds. Pork picnic roast or rib ends roast would do. The key is to generate flavor through dry rub and browning. I cook the meat with potatoes and onions in a slow cooker for about 4 hours on high. I find that if cooked too long, flavor becomes diluted. However, one should consult manufacturer's instructions for one's specific cooker for best results! :) Here's how I made this delicious Korean comfort stew 🍲: Step 1: Apply dry rub with salt, ground black pepper, garlic powder.
