Tofu is nutritious and is an excellent alternative to meat. In this post I will show you how to make a Korean pan-fried tofu using a simple method with very few ingredients (olive oil, soy sauce and sesame oil). Kale chips are very easy to make too: Just cook kale in oil in a pan until crispy (cast iron skillet works the best!) on the stove top. No need to bake or use air fryer!

Recipe: Korean pan
fried tofu:
Ingredients:
tofu (1 lb), oil, sesame oil, kosher salt and pepper, gochugaru and parsley (optional)
How:
1.  Pat dry tofu and cut in cubes or rectangular
shapes. *This is an important procedure to obtain golden brown crispy tofu.  I like to place tofu in a strainer and put in the fridge to remove moisture in tofu.
2.  Season with salt and pepper
3.  Pan fry tofu in oil in a nonstick pan until crispy and golden brown.

4. Add a small amount of soy sauce and sesame oil, if desired. Optionally, garnish with gochugaru and parsley (or any herbs of your choice!)
